About This Pipe

Popping back about 37 decades ago, "Cavalier" was originally used as a term of derision for those who supported King Charles the First, in his struggle with Parliament. Evidently, the tide of opinion on exactly what being a Cavalier entails must have turned, considerably. I mean, I have seen about 500 meerschaums carved as a Cavalier, but nary an Oliver Cromwell! I wonder if anyone ever carved a "Round head" meerschaum?
