About This Pipe

Peter Matzhold's obsession with with detail is legendary. Behold an example of this "magnificent obsession" in his rendition of the Billiard. There's no way you could grab this pipe and not know it was Herr Matzhold's work. The transition of angles from bowl to stem, unmistakable. He coaxed a lot of pretty grain out of this piece, there is a ton of attention to detail (chamfered tenon, polished airway) and the drilling is as precise as you would expect from the Master.
