Larry Roush has made stumpy, chubby, compact pipes for over a decade and there are a lot of fans for this style. His engineering is also extremely clean. When removing the stem, you can see the face of the shank not only stained, but glossy smooth and wrapped snuggly with one of Larry's silver bands. His tenons are made from Delrin and they are very well cut, turned, and wonderfully finished. Anyway, who wouldn't love that blast?
