American Estates: Elliot Nachwalter Wilke Pipe Works Smooth Bent Dublin (Replacement Stem; Shank Repair)
Product Number: 004-009-5708
The upside to Elliot Nachwalter pipes is that they're a labor of love; the downside to Elliot Nachwalter pipes is, also, that they're a labor of love. By this I mean that Elliot will make pipes when the muse is upon him, then stop making them when it leaves - and as such availability can come and go for years at a stretch. This particular bent Dublin shows off Elliot's great eye for shaping, not to mention grain, though the replacement stem and unorthodox shank repair (a brass tube lining the inside of the mortise, rather than an external band) knocks the asking price down quite a lot.
