"Neat" is the first word to come to mind in handling this Michael Lindner: Neat in proportions, neat in lines, neat in style. Brief and handy of length, light as a feather, and still packing a good depth of gradually tapered chamber, this is, simply, a fine little example of a Danish-influenced American pipe. As for the grain? That's neat too - neatly arranged, with flame arcing up either flank, and birdseye presented along the center of the fore, aft, and underside.
