Crafted just before the 2012 Chicago Pipe Show, this is one of Adam Davidson's only magnums. In fact, it is only one of two smooth finished magnum he's ever released. With its playful lines and intense grain, it could be considered a work of art. An intricate birdseye grain fills the left flank, an intense flame grain on the right. Using alternating sanding disks, Adam shaped this pipe's twisted rope-like ridging, which provides a nice visual break between the bowl and shank. Polishing it off with an oil finish rather than shellac, we're left with one beautiful pipe and intricate grain contrast. One thing's certain; you'll never find another like it.
