About This Pipe
American master Todd Johnson has access to bamboo of such quality, many of the senior Japanese carvers get their bamboo from him. and that speaks volumes. This elephant's foot boasts a fine shaping, as well as a combination of birdseye and cross cut grain that could make the angel's weep. It would take something pretty special to tear your eyes away from the bowl, wouldn't it? How about ten (yes, ten) knuckles of perfect bamboo, capped with a cumberland bit? Fantastic!
