About This Pipe
The bowl amazing 2007 Lee von Erck Pipe of the Year features some of the most astounding compound angles that I have seen from the carver. There are eight troughs created on the bowl but rather than presenting as a standard panel, or even a standard spiral, each through springs a "S curve" of close to forty-five degrees, about midway in its travel. The vertical and cross cut grain just might have you holding your breath. Fantastic stuff!
