About This Pipe
Zounds! Lee Von Erck is justifiably famous for his painstaking spiral work. It makes appearances, both subtle and overt, on many of his bowls, some of his shanks. This pipe flaunts a perfect spiral work from the plateau crown, all the way to within about an inch of the button. As if this execution wasn't tough enough, Lee worked the briar in such a manner that the quality of this pipe's grain equals that of the form. Stunning!
