Paul Bonacquisti is an American pipe carver with an Italian approach to pipe making. His sandblasting and finishing remind me a lot of Larry Roush (who also has a strong Italian aesthetic), yet they are American in the details. The sandblast is wonderful, though this is one of the defining characteristics of his work. Equally impressive is this sheen on his pipes that contrast so well against the valleys of such a surface. His logo is like the old Castello diamond insert, though on the top of the stem, and the bit is surprisingly comfortable for a pipe this size.
