Though quite a slim little Dublin, this AKB has a surprising amount of heft to it. As much as we tend to think of meerschaum as an extremely light material (it's very name, German for "sea foam", refers to having been found floating on water), it occurs naturally with a broad spectrum of density. Some pieces may feel almost completely weightless, while others can be found with such density that they make even briar feel light in comparison. This one clearly falls into the latter.
