The pipe so nice, I thought they named it twice. The "Vulcano" is actually takes its name from the southernmost Aeonian volcanic island, located near Sicily. This is an acutely Minimalistic approach to the classic Volcano shape, which is usually noted for its distinct conical bowl, rounded base and saddle stem. Here, most of the rules still apply, except for the base of the bowl, which has been flattened, and capped with acrylic, to such an extent as to make the Vulcano an absolutely perfect sitter. The briar shank has also been replaced by an elegantly crafted sandstone-colored acrylic shank, and like stem; it's a very unconventional and uncommon approach to, not just the Volcano, but to pipes in general. Also, the chamber has been widened and deepened to give a longer lasting smoke, which is appropriate for a pipe referred to as the Volcano.
