Looking at the panel placement of this bowl, the sweeping, off angle planes/biases, this briar has to favor one hand over the other - but which one? Actually, it is equally comfortable in either hand (and comfortable it is), which is precisely why Roman Kovalev incorporates so many hand ergonomic principles into his non-conventional shapes.
The shape of this pipe is unconventional, to the point that an ensuing title debate had to be arbitrated by Josh (who arrived at "bent Cubist Egg"). I'm not sure that gets it, but one thing we can all agree on is that the seemingly contradictory fusion of a brilliant, cutting-edge shape and an antler ferrule is, in fact, quite harmonious - indeed, intuitive, and Roman could not have chosen a finer stain.
