“You don’t know ‘Jack’” is something that I hear with such frequency, that I assumed it had become my company nickname. When it came to Tonino Jacono pipes, they were right (I had never encountered one). Well sir, I can now say with confidence, that ‘I know Jack’, and am damned pleased to make its acquaintance.
With Chris’ fine photography, to wax at length about the quality of grain, would make as much sense as doing a play-by-play on a massive fireworks display to the guy standing next to me, but this Jacono stain (the same stain that is employed on the Queen grade) is one of the finest contrasts out there, and the hue enhances the brilliance of the striations to the point that I am tempted to break out with a cover of “Jumping Jack Flash”. At this price point, this Jack grade Jacono bent Brandy is one my ‘picks of the litter’.
