It might seem odd to some that Tonino Jacono's "Knight" grade is rusticated, while the "Pawn" is sandblasted. On the other hand, it does make sense that an elite armiger should be extra-rugged. Granted, here we find that ruggedness is purely a matter of texture; the shaping is fine and clean, the lines gracefully precise. And, again, I have to say that's only appropriate for a pipe dubbed a "Knight".
