The bowl of this bent Brandy certainly provides plenty; plenty of height, plenty of depth of chamber, and plenty of substance to the walls. And yet, this is a shape with a compact, handy feel and balance. Granted, the pipe is overall of pretty modest length, but I see it as being more than just a matter of measurements. It's also in the shaping of the transition, shank, and stem. The first two are pretty short, and possess a muscular lower line, and this is further complemented by all the "bend" of the design being concentrated at two points, the transition and at mid-stem.
