The classic formula for a Prince is a broad, short bowl paired to a well-defined transition, a trim short-to-medium length shank, and then last but by no means least, a downward curved stem that lends it all a touch of gesture. In this Lomma Pot Lars Jonsson appears to have come up with something of a "reverse Prince". The stem is fine and straight, the shank trim, the transition defined, and the bowl short, broad, and (here's the key part) downward-dipped and canted. In short, to my eye Lars took the Prince then simply swapped which end was creating gesture. Granted, that sill makes it a Pot, but I will say it's one of the most interesting Pots I've seen in some time.
