We could hardly have a proper Nate King update without at least one of his signature Steampunk/Gearpunk designs. In this case we find something rather smaller than previous pieces we've seen from Nate in this novel style, or to put it more accurately, "less big". More modest of scale it may be, but it doesn't lack for mechanical-aesthetic complexities, sporting plenty of brass and steel. And as with most of his Steampunk/Gearpunk pieces, it features engineering elements adapted from the Cavalier. The brass knob poking out from the rear of the shank is threaded, to allow for easier cleaning out of the draft-hole, while the position of the stem, entering the shank from straight above, appears designed to draw a condensation-free smoke.
