If this Asami Kikuchi Tokyo Moderne take on the bent Egg doesn’t elevate your heart at least a wee bit, you might want to visit a cardiologist. By flattening the bowl along the horizontal axis, and opposing the rounded front of the bowl with a flatter ascent to the rear, not only does the form shift to the futurist, but a near-peerless comfort in the paw emerges (imagine either thumb resting on the back of the bowl).
The flame grain follows the incredible form in such a close manner, I don’t believe one could achieve a tighter pairing with a paintbrush, and a four-alarm flame complements the execution to perfection. Between the three-quarter bent and a weight of around 50 grams, this Ikebana ‘D’ will feel almost as delightful in the jaw as it does in your paw.
