The smooth-finished bent acorn is, I confess, one of my favorite forms for a meerschaum pipe. (Though it escapes me why I use the word confess. One of the privileges of being payed to describe pipes, especially if you happen to be me, is that one can like anything you very well please. It's disliking something that would potentially create grief. If I were to say, "I don't like So-and-So, they're carved by men with beady eyes," for example.) The thoroughly softened shaping is a dream to handle, and with age so to will come the perfect visual "warming" to match.
