Yowza! Out of the four Adam Davidson briars that I just described for tonight's update, this might well be my favorite, and the Davidson update is a dandy. Back when I first started describing Adam's work, he would refer to the pudginess of this shape as 'husky' (with this pipe, maybe 'semi-husky'). I, ever willing to play "Mr. Bones", asked Adam "Husky?!" He replied, "Yeah, you can't call something you love 'chubby' or 'fat'." Like in the kids' department of a store... "husky". This semi-husky bent Billiard sports a splendidly symmetrical, neo-classic shape as well a sandblasted grain that almost beggars belief. Just wanting to confirm the obvious (also, partially just to annoy him), I pointed at the absurdly generous band and asked "Mammoth?" "No, Canadian Mammoth, that ivory was a gift from Michael Parks back in March, and this is the first time I've used it." There you have it; An Adam Davidson sandblasted bent Billiard, with Canadian mammoth. Now that you have it, you really should get it.
