Those who know me, know (all too well) that I tend to chatter like siamang gibbon participating in a laboratory methamphetamine experiment. Pulling this pipe out of it's leather pouch left me speechless. No, seriously. The tomato is one of my favorite shapes, and I consider myself one of the world's toughest customers to please when it comes to their execution. Having said that, Jeff probably has just created what I consider the most beautiful and advanced interpretation on the form that I have ever seen... bar none. As beautiful and comprehensive as the photos are, even greater magic occurs from the upper rear side oblique (the natural vantage of the pipe held in hand). This pipe's confluence of shape and grain would elevate it to a crown status, in most any collection. Highly recommended.
