About This Pipe
Whether the briar was carefully selected to best suit this shape, or this shape was chosen to best suit this particularly choice piece of briar, either way Jeff Gracik has combined the two perfectly, resulting in a sweeping Volcano design whose copious ring grain not only covers the bowl, but which rolls with the gesture of the shape as well. The birdseye spreading across the smooth-polished underside isn't shabby either, and on top of it all, this briar even proves to be a fine sitter.
