The Hawkbill is an Italian shape, and Ardor is a very
Italian marque, and yet we've never seen all that many Hawkbills from Ardor - less than a dozen, out of the over 1,700 Ardor briars we've carried. Here they present us one rendered with a classic style of rounded bowl and arcing shank and stem, but also sporting a prominent, Acorn-style pointed underside. It produces a very spur-like profile, something which is, I suppose, quite fitting to a design named in reference to a bird of prey after all.
