A testament to Ardor's craftsmanship and attention to detail, this bent Dublin actually sits on a pinhead. You wouldn't believe how many "sitter" pipes cross my desk that don't actually sit. It's a difficult thing, especially dealing with proportions like this, where one miscalculation can ruin an otherwise perfect piece. Why, I saw one just the other day (the artisan will remain nameless for my own personal employment purposes) that looked altogether proportionally balanced at a glance, a beautifully crafted piece that must have took along time to make--but when sat leaned to the right and fell over (and that pipe was priced significantly higher than the one you see before you). So here we have a divine sitter, that's also a good-looker as well. The paneled bowl thrusts proudly forward, dynamic by all accounts, and deep chambered to boot, smoothly transitioning from its sturdy shank and exceptionally crafted creme colored acrylic stem--in a word, "perfect".
