The Roveras have been making pipes for over a century now, and honestly they just keep getting better and better. Following the family's unique aging process, Ardor continues to produce quality briars that are always dry and light for a more enjoyable smoke. As for their shapes, we've seen quite a variety ever since Damiano began conditioning the company to take on new designs.
This unique Freehand is all of that history in a nutshell... well, in a briar, I mean. Featuring interesting curves and creased edges that extend down the bowl to create a slight spur at the transition, it's obvious that Damiano had his hand in this design. As a Marte, it is presented here in a smooth golden finish that really highlights the briar's excellent grain - including some flame along the flanks, straight running up the front, and plenty of impressive birdseye around the rim. Complete with a jet-black acrylic stem and bright silver mount, it makes for one impressive piece.
