The Terra finish proved such an immediate hit when it was released late in 2002, that expansion into a great variety of shapes was a given. Initially, it was primarily used in the Fantasy series, later spreading to more traditional shapes - such as this delightful Oom-Paul.
The Terra finish is more difficult because the lack of any stain means that small flaws cannot be easily hidden. This means that there is a moderate premium over other rusticated and sandblasted Ardors, putting it almost on par with the less expensive smooths-- the Gioves. Still, looking at the results, this describing quadruped feels the finish is well worth it. This is one beautiful and substantial pipe.
