Only Ardor can so capably pull off red pearlescent acrylic for a pipe stem and shank mount. It just works for them, but if anyone else tried it, I'm pretty sure it'd be a disaster. That's the great Ardor paradox, really: that which is cool on an Ardor would look silly on any other pipe (Wilford's Second Law of Italian Pipe Design). Anyway, the combination of the red acrylic with the light stained rusticated bowl and shank, completed by the smooth rim and sterling silver spacer, just works perfectly. This is yet another seriously neat, fun pipe from one of my favorite Italian marques.
