One very fine design, at a surprisingly modest price given the quality of execution, this Armentrout briar presents something halfway between the iconic Elephant's Foot shape, and a more reserved, albeit still quite freehand Acorn. As with the typical Elephant's Foot, the briar has been arranged with the birdseye dressing the forward face, and, this being a sandblast, ring grain following the form of the bowl along the flanks. On the practical end of things, this pipe is quite a t home in hand, the chamber is deep, and the walls are plenty stout.
