The first thing that you will notice when you pull this pipe out, is the blast. The grain is dense, deep, and craggy where the rings pass down the front of the bowl. The straight Dublin shape is superb and, although the pipe is itself rather large, the short, but relatively short shank adds a charming sense of compactness. The cumberland bit and silver army mount are a perfect ending to the composition.
