The Canadian is a shape that I feel the English do best. This "XXX" Ashton supports my postulation with its trim bowl and on-the-mark proportions. The sandblast is not the deep and craggy variety that Ashton is known for, rather it is light-handed and does not blur the lines of the piece. The ring grain is still very detailed and tight. With the extra length of briar shank and Ashton's famous oil-cured briar, this Brindle will preform like a champ, right out of the gate.
