About This Pipe
Paolo Becker pulls his shaping from many sources, some pieces show some German influence, some pipes stay conservatively English. This pipe fairly shouts of Italy, and of Pesaro in particular. The ratios and shaping of this composition are exquisite, and the dual staining makes the most of a stellar grain. Boxwood at the mount meets boxwood inlaid in the bit for s striking finish.
