About This Pipe
As much as I have always adored the shaping of Paolo Becker, this shift to a large, fairly conventional brandy has me drooling in a whole new manner. The bowl is wonderfully spherical, fills the hand, and is blessed with some of the finest grain on this side of the veil. Rather than follow his normally seen aesthetic of pairing the massive to the compositionally slender, the bowl and shank fall within normal rations and that shank is finished with a deliciously thin saddle bit. I am loving this!
