Gracile almost to the point of absurdity, Paolo Becker here renders for us the briar equivalent of a "super model", minus, we hope, the spoiled-feline temperament typically associated with the inhabitants of that particular strata of pulchritude. I'd say that hope is far from forlorn, given that the briar does sit with sound stability, an aspect of engineering which would seem to contrast the exceptional leanness of the trim, lofty bowl proportions and the conspicuously long, almost painfully slender, shank and stem.
