Benni Jorgensen, it must be said, isn't afraid to return to the basics. And that's quite fortunate, because if he was, then we wouldn't be looking at this ridiculously flame-grained beauty of a straight Brandy. His signature style tends to be rather complex - a lot of sweeping channels and ridges, carefully balanced asymmetry, and so forth. Still, sometimes I guess a man just wants to go back to the classics, and that's just what this briar is. It's a Danish classic; soft and smooth in form and line from rim to bit. A Danish classic, which just happens to have been made by a man who knew how to make it obscenely beautiful.
