This is a new shape for us from the likes of American carver Bruce Weaver. And it's a lovely number, with clean, swooping lines and even, flawless transitions from bowl to shank to mouthpiece. It's awesome that Bruce will not only tackle a shape like this, which is a bit more Danish than the kind of work he produces customarily, he'll also execute the thing with tremendous capability. Technically, Bruce Weaver hasn't been at pipe making all that long, but his years as a hobbyist have shaped him a keen eye for pipe design, as this blasted beauty surely does testify.
