New!  Butz-Choquin: Cocarde (1024)

Product Number: 002-010-0571

A cocarde is an ornament, such as a rosette or knot of ribbon, usually worn on the hat as a badge. Unlike a lot of names given to pipes, I can actually say that the beveled bowl of the Bulldog resembles a concarde when viewed from the top. Just stick one in your tricorne or bicorne and go out and support your favorite monarchy, just remember a white concarde is for the restoration of a Jacobite monarchy, while a black concarde is for the established Hanoverian monarchy--people get those two so confused. In all seriousness, the Concarde is your classic English Bulldog, maybe given a touch more stoutness in bowl, lending to a full, warm feeling in hand.
