First the "Sweet", now the "Smart"; what do you suppose Butz-Choquin is up to with these quirky names? Could it be the "smart" finish, the smooth polish, dark, understated contrast stain, and simple brass accent? Could it be the "Smart" shaping, wholly masculine in its angular shank, large proportion, and deep chamber, yet balanced through an imbued sense of softness in the curves of the bowl and dreamily languid gesture? Or how about the $100 price tag? That seems like more than an intelligent buy. All of the above, I wager.
