With a sitter shape like this, I say what determines a hit or a miss is a combination of the bowl's proportions, and the treatment of the panel's edges. Smartly squared off, a bowl form of this nature can either provide a pleasing bit of edge in hand, or feel like you're holding a fistful of knives by the wrong end. Fortunately, Caminetto went the right way with it, smoothly rounding the corners (while still keeping them defined), and keeping the bowl proportions pretty generous, but not too
broad across any face.
