The first words to come into my mind on picking up this Caminetto were "stout little tugboat of a Bulldog". In actuality, it's not that little - quiet broad, in fact. Still, the shape does have a certain compact pugnaciousness to it that makes the comparison to tugboat valid, and the choice of a slim push stem and sturdy mount work all the more to concentrate the design's mass between rim and shank-end. Of course, tugboats don't usually come with fans of flame grain along their flanks, or beautiful birdseye displayed atop their cabins.
