The Bulldog is an inherently masculine shape. We all know that; all you have to do is look at one to see why. And all you have to do is look at this particular one to tell that Castello clearly felt like making a point of it anyhow. Broad, firm curves, smart, decisive angles at the bevel, the shank's cross-section, and the taper of the stem - they all play their parts. But of course, just to drive the point home, it's all been backed up with loads of substance, and especially so when it comes to the walls of the bowl.
