Pi is easily the most recognized mathematical constant in the world and is often considered the most important and intriguing number in the mathematical discipline. In the Castello nomenclature, a Pi stamp represents a special, less frequently seen trim, one which sports both rusticated and smooth areas of the bowl. This pipe, one of Castello’s most highly sought after shapes, the 93 (three-quarter bent Egg), boasts a military mount, a very generous KKKK size, as well as an intriguing variation of the Pi trim. The spiral etching of the bowl is meticulously executed and carries rearward on to the shank, only briefly interrupted by the smooth stamping panel on the left. This rare Sea Rock Pi should grab the attention of most any Castello collector.
