Sometimes I'll see two dominate shapes or characteristics in one pipe and feel a compulsion to create one title or word. Say a pipe features an utterly proper Lovat shank and bit, but the carver elected to go with a very pronounced Dublin bowl. I have to title it a "Dublat", or my head might explode. Yes, a compulsion, but a fairly harmless one as far as my compulsions usually run. Here we have one of Castello's highly sought spiral bent Billiards and it features the all-too-scarce Pi trim. "PiLliard"? "BillPi?!" No matter how I type that, we both know what it sounds like in the noggin and I simply refuse to go there. (Stops typing, turns head, and grins at an unseen reader)
. This is a pipe that will be very hard to take a pass on.
