By my reckoning I've seen this particular approach to the Bulldog from Castello about, oh, one time. That is to say, this time. Flared, shortened shank, forward-thrust heel, extra-trim stem, altogether make for a combination utterly different from every other Castello Bulldog that has preceded it. The result has a look that's both compressed and bold, and yet with that freehand shank, organic transition, and altered bowl-form, also hints at, if anything, a Danish Acorn.
