As we have previously pointed out - probably to the point of distraction - Castello's grading system for an individual pipe is based on where it stood within a given batch of pipes. If, for example, the Sea Rocks of a specific batch of pipes were uniformly on the smaller side, what you or I might normally regard as a "KK", might well be stamped with a "KKK". The same holds true over on the grain side of the grading coin as well, and this Castello Castello KK must have been born within a family of beautifully grained siblings. KK? I love when Castello's system works in the buyer's favor.
