About This Pipe
A sure sitter with a graceful style, this fine, smooth rendition of the Cherrywood by Castello sports the prized Occhi di Pernice stamping, and also, naturally enough, the kind of wealth of well-displayed birdseye that ti takes to earn it. It's often easy to think of the Cherrywood and Poker shapes as rather utilitarian or rustic numbers, in no small part due to them commonly being fashioned along such lines, but here Castello gives us a tall, trim-looking, subtly canted bowl paired to clean, gentle flow of transition, shank, and stem.
