Fitting to its particularly lively, ultra-fine stranded, pre-Raphealite flame grain, not to mention notably dense plateau, Claudio Cavicchi has finished this "CCC" smooth Dublin in a variation of his usual "C" grade soft, golden finish - a variation of manifestly greater intensity and vibrancy. Indeed, seeing this briar in person, it almost seems to glow with a gentle luminosity like that of a setting sun. It probably shouldn't come as a surprise, then, that this is also one of the relatively rare briars where he's used a colored stem to complement the composition, in this case a warm, tortoiseshell-patterned acrylic number.
