Claudio Cavicchi: Rusticated Bent Dublin with Plateau
Product Number: 002-400-1193
Deep-chambered, stout-walled neoclassical shaping, a rugged, stimulating rusticated texture, and dead-on perfect drilling and engineering - these are all pretty much to be expected from Claudio Cavicchi, and indeed they are all found here. There's also something rather novel about this piece, however - it's the only plateau-crowned rusticated pipe we've ever received from him. He seems to have wanted to particularly emphasize this feature, as he's finished the rim in a striking style, polishing the tops of the plateau and combining black and red-colored stains to produce a bold contrast.
