Smooth Cherrywood with Silver (CCCC) Tobacco Pipe

I can only assume Claudio Cavicchi expected more birdseye out of this Cherrywood's briar. I say this because, quite simply, I don't otherwise see any reason why he stopped at four "C" stamps - this is, you see, hands down one of the most gorgeously flame-grained briars I've ever come across. Whatever the real reason was, however, if nothing else this "CCCC" grading does show that Claudio's as much a stickler for perfection as ever.
