Claudio Cavicchi doesn't produce a ton of Egg shapes (roughly a smidge over 2% of his production, by my calculations) and when he does he seems to prefer thicker shanks, elongation and slightly idiosyncratic interpretations over pure classicism.
This beauty is one stone-cold, beautiful neo-classic. The balance, both physical and visual, should warm the heart of any purist, and the sheer grace of line will enchant a European shape collector of most any bent. Bravo, Claudio!
